When is game 1 of the world series
Of the last 13 instances in which a Major League team won a Game 6 at home to force a Game 7 in the postseason, all but two went on to win Game 7. To help remind everyone what made that night so special, we asked 12 MLB.com staffers who were at Busch Stadium that night (as well as one who wasn’t) to share a memory of that legendary game on October 27, 2011. These are their memories.
Kinsler would walk to start the game and would later score on a Josh Hamilton single to give the Rangers the early lead. After a masterful game-two, Colby Lewis was tasked with winning the Rangers the World Series. Lance Berkman would hit a two-run home run in the bottom half of the first-inning which set off the back-and-forth affair.
What was there to even say at this point. Me and dad stared blank-faced at the TV for what felt like a decade. There was no reassuring “we can still win this”, this time around. We both knew what the final outcome of the game would be.
Lance Berkman lumbered to the plate in the bottom of the inning, with two runners on base and the count even at two. For the second time, the Rangers were one strike away from a title. Instead, Berkman singled up the middle, and the game was now tied. For the second time, the Rangers had failed to put away the St. Louis Cardinals. For the second time, David Freese strode to the plate, with a chance to change history. A pitch came in, and when the ball landed in the batter’s eye, and Joe Buck echoed the sentiments of his father saying that “We’ll see you, tomorrow night!”, the Cardinals had won Game 6. The hero of the day touched home plate, and the Rangers title hopes were put on hold.

Now that you’ve deployed, you and your squad should pull up the map. The two things to pay the most attention to are contracts and Threat Zones. Contracts are the easiest ways to gain Essence, which is the main resource in MWZ and the currency used to purchase Wall Buy weapons, Pack-a-Punch Upgrades, Perks from Perk Machines, and Mystery Box weapons. Listed below are some of the different contracts that you can take and what you will need to do to complete them. Remember that your squad can have only one contract active at a time. So, once you take a contract, you’ll need to either complete it or abandon it to take another.

Unlike most other zombie survival games, power and water start off active in Project Zomboid, and players can make use of household electrical appliances such as lights, televisions, ovens, and microwaves, as well as get unlimited water from taps, but after a random number of days between 0-30 (A different amount can be achieved by changing the sandbox settings for power and water shutoff to occur later), the power and water will shut off, forcing the players to get water and use electricity by other means.
